Aman & Meeks is one of the most widely respected interior design companies in America, with an impressive roster of clients that includes prominent business leaders and entrepreneurs, arts patrons and philanthropists. Founded in 1995 by James Aman, the company evolved into its current partnership with the addition of John Meeks in 1997, and Meredith Aman in 2014. Aman & Meeks has grown to be a distinguished leader in the design industry.
James Aman and John Meeks create designs for residential and high-profile commercial projects, including urban residences and country estates, luxury fashion and accessory bou- tiques, lush hotel interiors and public spaces, as well as skillfully-appointed corporate offices and headquarters.
With a passion for expressive décor and attention to architectural detail, spaces designed by Aman & Meeks focus attention on exceptional collections of art and antiques interspersed with contemporary furnishings. Like jewels perfectly set and beautifully displayed, the rooms are sophisticated and cohesive, combining classical and current references, eclectic elements and bespoke furnishings, all individually selected to highlight a client’s lifestyle and unique inter- ests.
Aman & Meeks-designed living spaces are quietly elegant and, above all, livable – each room created to gracefully evolve to accommodate any occasion, from intimate gatherings to cele- bratory get-togethers for groups of family and friends. Their signature style incorporates time- less design elements that celebrate tradition with more cutting-edge details that captivate the eye and stir the imagination.
Recent work by Aman & Meeks has been featured in numerous national and international de- sign publications and television broadcasts, including Architectural Digest, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and WNBC-TV’s “Open House.” Elle Décor has named the firm to the magazine’s “A-List” every year since 2012.
In addition to design projects in New York City, the Hamptons and Palm Beach, the firm has completed creative assignments in Asia. The firm has been a contributor to the Kips Bay De- signer Show House in New York City and the Palm Beach Jewelry, Art & Antique Show.
