A Letter from Newel CEO Jake Baer

Dear Valued Clients:

I hope everyone had a happy and healthy New Year!

I am thrilled and honored to announce that Newel, which was founded in 1939, is acquiring Gary Rubinstein Antiques and Contemporary Designs in Hollywood Florida. We are excited to bring Gary’s unparalleled inventory onto www.Newel.com as we start the new year. Here is the  Business of Home feature about this acquisition where you can learn more about this deal.

Newel will also be taking over Gary’s showroom in Hollywood, Florida, which is located in the South Florida Design Park. In addition, Gary’s incredible team will be joining the Newel Family. To Brian, Gerson and Lee, we are beyond happy for you to join Newel and we look forward to our growth!

At Newel, our goal is to bring you the most unique and highest quality products in the world. With this acquisition, we are able to further expand our offerings and bring you even more one of a kind items. We are excited to showcase thousands of  items that have never been cataloged before along with having all of his current inventory on Newel.com.

In addition to the Gary Rubinstein acquisition, I am excited to announce that we have recently expanded our Long Island City warehouse by an additional 20,000 sq ft. This additional space will enable us to achieve our said goal of adding quality and eclectic inventory.

This expansion will also  improve the viewing experience at our Long Island City warehouse. In an effort to enhance the gallery experience, we are dedicated to updating our Manhattan and new Florida showroom with new inventory on a monthly basis.

The Newel team and I are committed to continually growing and strengthening our relationships with our clients. We prioritize trustworthy and responsible high end design above all else. We look forward to continuing to add even more unique and beautiful items to our collection.

Lastly, we would like to extend a special thank you to Gary Rubinstein and TJ Scarborough for helping make this deal happen. We look forward to continuing to work with you both as we move forward.

We hope you are as excited as we are about this new chapter for Newel and we can’t wait to see what the future holds.

Thank you so much for your time and please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions you might have.

Sincerely,

Jake Baer & Newel Family
